Return Policy



All Returns Require Prior Authorization

Contact us at sales@interlectcid.com. Any item returned to Interlect CID without a Return Authorization will be refused.

Return of New Items Within 30 Days of Purchase

Returns are accepted for new, factory-sealed and unopened merchandise provided it is accompanied by an approved Return Authorization, obtained by contacting us at sales@interlectcid.com. (Return constitutes receipt of the product by Interlect CID, and not the mere issuance of a Return Authorization.) Returned merchandise must arrive no later than 30 days after we provide you with an approved Return Authorization Number. Shipping charges cannot be refunded.

Return of Defective Items Within 30 Days of Purchase

Returns are accepted provided it is accompanied by an approved Return Authorization. For defective items please contact us at sales@interlectcid.com and include a detailed written description of the defect and how to replicate the problem. Merchandise found to be non-defective may be subject to a minimum of 15% restocking fee, at the discretion of Interlect CID. Additional fees may be assessed for missing hardware. Returned merchandise must arrive no later than 30 days after we provide you with an approved Return Authorization Number. Shipping charges cannot be refunded.

Product Warranty Information

All products purchased outside of 30 days will be subject to the individual manufacturer's warranty policies. Interlect CID makes no guarantees or claims to warranty products outside of the manufacturer guidelines. Please contact the manufacturer directly for technical assistance or to obtain a return authorization. Interlect CID has no control over the manufacturer's decision regarding repair or replacement of units requiring service under warranty conditions, nor the estimated turn around time. Please note that Interlect CID is not responsible for freight costs associated with product warranty issues.

Non-Returnable Items Include (But are Not Limited To)

  • Any product not purchased from InterlectCID.com
  • Any product without a valid, readable serial number, including but not limited to products with missing, damaged, altered, or otherwise unreadable serial number (if product originally included a serial number)
  • Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the retail box, manuals, cables, and all other items originally included with the product
  • Any product from which the UPC code has been removed from its packaging (if product originally included a UPC)
  • Any product that exhibits physical damage
  • Any product for which you have submitted a mail-in rebate
  • Cut to length audio or video cable
  • Projection bulbs
  • Any product with a service activation feature

Returns for “Out of Stock”/Back ordered Items

Are subject to the following: If Interlect CID no longer carries an item that is sent in for replacement, or if that item is simply out of stock, the item will be sent to our Back Order Returns Department. You will be notified via email of two options: 1) Interlect CID can send you a comparable replacement item, or, 2) Interlect CID can issue you a refund at the current market value of the product. A current-market-value refund may not exceed the original purchase price. If the item is returned within 30 days of the original invoice date, a full refund will be issued.

Packing and Shipping Your Return

You should include all factory packed accessories in the original carton with all UPC and Bar Codes intact. Incomplete returns will receive a reduced credit reflecting any missing accessories or may be denied at Interlect CID’s discretion. Return merchandise must be double boxed with no writing on the manufacturer’s box. Your approved Return Authorization Number must be displayed prominently on the outside of the shipping box. While you may select your own return shipping carrier, Interlect CID suggests shipping through a Nationally Recognized Carrier (such as UPS, USPS, or FedEx) who will be able to provide you with a tracking number to monitor your return. Interlect CID is not responsible for return packages which are lost or delivered to an incorrect address. Returned merchandise must arrive no later than 30 days after we provide you with an approved Return Authorization Number.

Shipping Costs are Not Refundable

In the case that you exchange a defective product for a new product, Interlect CID will provide and pay for the outbound shipping for replacement merchandise. Under no circumstances will Interlect CID refund original shipping fees nor will Interlect CID reimburse the cost of return shipping fees. Any returned merchandise shipped to Interlect CID COD (or with any outstanding freight/postage) will be refused.

Processing Time

Returns meeting the conditions outlined above will be processed within 14 business days following receipt. Processing may be slightly extended during peak business periods.

Denied Return Claims

Interlect CID retains the right, at our discretion, to deny received product returns for reasons including (but not limited to):

  • Any returned product which is found to not have been purchased from Interlect CID
  • Any return authorization number which was obtained under false pretenses or unverifiable claims
  • Any product from which the UPC code or Serial Number has been removed (if product originally included a UPC or Serial Number)
  • Any product that exhibits physical damage

Product received which has been denied the return claim will be disposed of and no credit will be issued.

Please Note: Customers will receive less than full credit on any merchandise returned to Interlect CID as “refused” or “undeliverable” (excludes freight damaged goods) due to the cost of return shipping charges incurred by Interlect CID.
